Wesley Cross - President

Wesley is a co-founder and President of Jumpstart-up. As the right hand of the CEO he provides leadership in the strategic direction of Jumpstart-up.

Wesley has created and tested innovative structures and processes to manage cross-border social and commercial enterprise development through Conception, Finance and Mobilisation. He has deployed these practices with over 40 private and public sector entities in extensive on-the-ground experience in Europe, Asia, and the Americas.

He is the founder of Stratagem International focused on enterprise development and seed funding of impact ventures. Prior to that he managed programmes at the Center for the Study of the Presidency and the Center for Strategic and International studies that advised senior policymakers at the White House, US Treasury, Department of Defense, NATO, USAID, World Bank and IMF.

Wesley is a published author in international relations, international law, and corporate strategy and holds degrees in foreign policy and international business diplomacy from the Georgetown University Walsh School of Foreign Service and Institut d’Etudes Politique de Paris. He was Ellsworth Bunker Junior Fellow at the Institute for the Study of Diplomacy and graduated from United States Marine Corps Officer Candidate School. Wesley is professionally fluent in Italian, French, and Spanish, and proficient in German.
